Stockport accountants are chosen by their peers as the UK’s Accounting Firm of the Year

At the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham, in front of 251 fellow accountants from across the country, Stockport based Hallidays were named as the 2009/10 UK Accounting Firm of The Year.

The Award, sponsored by AVN, is the only one of its kind where the winner is actually chosen by a panel of fellow accountants. Presenting the award, AVN’s Chairman Steve Pipe said:

“Hallidays are a well established firm that refuses to rest on their laurels. They have responded to the recession by proactively helping their clients to not only protect their cash flow, but actually to grow, create jobs and become more successful despite the state of the economy. There is no doubt that they fully deserve the recognition given to them by their peers. They are an inspiration to the rest of the profession.”

Hallidays Managing Partner Nigel Bennett said:
