Position:	Director

Qualifications:	FCA Member of the ICAEW Audit Faculty

Experience & specialisms:	Keith has a detailed knowledge of businesses in the UK and specialises in working closely with owner-managed businesses. Through working closely with his clients over many years he has gained particular expertise in the formation of Trusts to protect the interests of owner-manager businesses.

Outside work:	When not at the helm of Hallidays he can usually be found in the Irish Sea at the helm of his boat. Some would say steering with considerably less skill, however he always seems to find his way back home!

Qualifications:	FCA ATII BA(Hons) Member of the ICAEW Tax Faculty

Experience & specialisms:	John trained and qualified at Hallidays before doing his taxation exams and becoming a member of the Institute of Taxation. However that was many years ago and in the intervening period he has expanded his knowledge through dealing with many complex tax scenarios involving SME's trusts and individuals.

Outside work:	Despite his undoubted intelligence it has taken many years and several painful injuries for John to realize that at his age he should indulge in his favourite sport rugby as a spectator rather than a participator.

Qualifications:	FCA BA(Hons) Member of the ICAEW IT Faculty

Experience & specialisms:	Nigel joined Hallidays in 1989 and since then has thrown himself enthusiastically into the development of Hallidays own IT infrastructure and has developed the provision of IT services to our clients concentrating on the SME's who form the bedrock of Hallidays clients.

Outside work:	Like Keith, Nigel also has a fondness for boats however he prefers Spain to the Irish Sea as he is adamant that ten minutes in the Irish Sea in August will result in hypothermia, radiation sickness or both.

Qualifications:	ACA BSc

Experience & specialisms:	Anna trained and qualified with Hallidays and since then has developed her experience of owner-managed businesses. In addition to looking after her business clients Anna is responsible for all personnel matters at Hallidays.

Outside work:	Anna would like it to be known that despite the implication of the name she is not related to Nigel and is married to someone else entirely! Both Anna and her real husband are keen Motor Racing fans and rarely miss the annual trip to Le Mans.

Qualifications:	BA (Hons), ACCA

Experience & specialisms:	Valerie trained and qualified at Hallidays and became partner in June 2002. She works closely with family owned businesses, and has specialist knowledge of Credit Unions. Her next target is to qualify as an Independent Financial Adviser.

Outside work:	After trying her hand at rugby in her youthful days Valerie now prefers to have less bruises and keeps fit at the gym. However the bruises don't appear to have diminished largely thanks to her hobby of D.I.Y.

Qualifications:	FCA ATII Member of the ICAEW Tax Faculty

Experience & specialisms:	Philip trained and qualified at Hallidays. Since then Philip has qualified as a member of the Institute of Taxation. The technical expertise he has gained is immense and is an extremely valuable resource for the firm and our clients.

Outside work:	Philip hones his intellectual ability outside work by playing Bridge and looking after his wife and young daughter (but not necessarily in that order).

Experience & specialisms:	Paul joined Hallidays in 1997 following several enjoyable work experience stints with the firm during University holidays. Since completing his ACA training he has become more heavily involved in the business development side of the firm, including the ongoing evolution of the added value services provided by Hallidays.

Outside work:	Paul is a great lover of overseas travel, however whilst in the UK he can always be found at the weekend hurtling down mountains on his mountain bike or despairing at the inadequacies of his beloved Manchester City.
