We work hard to support our clients and our efforts have been recognised with quite a few awards. Our most recent award was being shortlisted as Employer of the Year 2018 which we are extremely proud of. It was also a great recognition to win Marketing Firm of the year in 2015. Both these awards are reflected in the high standard of support we give to you. In 2014 we were shortlisted for Medium Practice of the Year award in the Practice Excellence Awards. In 2011 we featured in The UK’s Best Accountancy Practices, and in 2010 we won the title of Medium Firm of the Year at the Accountancy Age Awards. We’ll even enter your business into awards as well.

Employer of the Year 2018

We were thrilled to be shortlisted as finalists for Employer of the Year in the 2018 E3 Business Awards. Hallidays is fundamentally a people business. We know a happy team creates happy clients! With a strong coaching culture, commitment to personal development and flexible working we are proud of the way we grow and support our team. Our engagement survey found 100% of our team look forward to coming to work!

Marketing Firm of the Year 2015

Hallidays are delighted to have won the 2020 Award of ‘Marketing Firm of the Year’ in recognition of our investment in marketing over the past 10 years. The 2020 Innovation Awards celebrate success and achievements across the accounting profession, with particular emphasis on innovation and creativity. We’re proud of our business development events, website and satisfaction surveys which support us to provide a high quality service to our clients.

Practice Excellence Awards 2014

We were shortlisted for the Medium Practice of the Year award in the Practice Excellence Awards 2014. The award recognises overall success and excellence in the past 12 months. This is fantastic news for Hallidays and recognises all of our team’s hard work over the past year.

Groundwork Environmental Business Pledge

The Environmental Business Pledge is an award scheme that helps businesses to reduce their environmental impact, raise environmental awareness and save money. We have achieved both the Silver and Bronze award in recognition of the steps we have taken to ensure our offices and our team follow best environmental practice. We are now working towards achieving our Gold award!

Practice Excellence Awards 2013

In 2013 we were shortlisted as one of the Top 10 Large Firms in the AccountingWEB Practice Excellence Awards. The shortlist was based upon the AccountingWEB Client Satisfaction survey, where our clients scored us a huge 98% when asked ‘How likely are you to recommend your accountant to a friend or colleague?’ We also scored highly for our understanding of our clients' business objectives, our flexibility to their needs and value for money service.

Featured in the book The UK’s Best Accountancy Practices in 2011

We featured in Steve Pipe’s book The UK’s Best Accountancy Practices as an example of excellence. Our speed of response, proactivity and value for money service made us stand out as a firm that had successfully transformed itself into an innovative and forward thinking practice with client care at its focus.

Accountancy Age Awards – Medium Firm of the Year 2010

In November 2010, Hallidays won the title of Medium Firm of the Year at the Accountancy Age Awards in London. Explaining why Hallidays were their winner, Accountancy Age said, "With high praise from our judges, it was Hallidays that stood out with their performance of the year. Successes were plentiful. They doubled the number of leads, retained clients’, improved cash flow significantly, grew fees by 5% and increased extra work orders by more than half through the introduction of client care programme. Turnaround times have improved by 43%. At every step, the firm measured its progress, including careful monitoring of its client base, which grew by 11%. Overall the entry revealed a firm making big efforts to change and progress on many fronts."

AVN UK Accountancy Firm of the Year Awards 2009/2010

Winning the AVN UK Accountancy Firm of the Year 2009/2010 award is an achievement we are particularly proud of, as the award is the only one of its kind where the winner is actually chosen by a panel of fellow accountants. Presenting the award, AVN Chairman Steve Pipe said, "Hallidays are a well established firm that refuses to rest on their laurels. They have responded to the recession by proactively helping their clients to not only protect their cash flow, but actually to grow, create jobs and become more successful despite the state of the economy. There is no doubt that they fully deserve the recognition given to them by their peers. They are an inspiration to the rest of the profession."
